| Intergroups are autonomous "service boards or committees" of the sort mentioned in Tradition Nine. The SMIA is not directly affiliated with Maryland General Service or A.A. World Services, however we do coordinate and keep in regular contact with these different service entities. |
SMIA STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
OUR PRIMARY PURPOSE SHALL BE TO AID IN THE RELIEF AND RECOVERY OFPERSONS SUFFERING FROM ALCOHOLISM AND ITS' ATTENDING PROBLEMS. |
